LEATHER INFO
This product is made with Italian vegetable-tanned full-grain cow leather.
Vegetable-tanned leather is a traditional and natural tanning method using tannins extracted from plants. This leather allows the original texture and character of the hide. Over time, it develops a rich patina — deepening in color and gaining character as it ages — creating a piece that tells its own story.
Full-grain leather is the top grade of leather made from the outermost layer of the hide. It retains the natural texture and strength of the leather, along with its inherent durability. While it may seem sensitive to scratches or marks at first, these evolve into beautiful signs of use over time — a reflection of your own journey and use, written into the leather itself.
Due to the minimal processing of full-grain leather, each piece may feature natural textures, pores, scars, specks, or wrinkles. These are not defects, but rather hallmarks of authentic leather — each one a reminder of its origin and uniqueness.
Vegetable-tanned leather may feel slightly stiff at first. However, with regular use, it will gradually soften and form comfortably to your habits — aging beautifully and becoming truly yours. To maintain the beauty and integrity of your purchase, we recommend treating it with care.
CARE & MAINTENANCE
Basic care
- Gently wipe the surface with a soft, dry cloth or use a soft brush to remove dust.
- Applying leather cream or conditioner occasionally is recommended to maintain the leather’s softness and prevent dryness.
- If the leather gets wet, gently blot with a dry cloth and let it air-dry in the shade. Avoid using direct heat such as hair dryers or radiators.
Storage tips
- Avoid direct sunlight and humidity. These can cause discoloration and deformation.
- Store in a breathable environment. Use a fabric dust bag instead of a plastic bag to allow airflow and prevent moisture buildup.
Avoid the following
- Alcohol-based or oily cleaning products
- Excessive friction or contact with sharp objects
- Exposure to direct heat or sunlight for long periods
